Isaignani Ilayaraja is known for his outspoken gesture and doesn’t let his tongue for any appreciation at an ease though it involves himself into the project. But yesterday morning turned to be a moment of surprisal for the special invitees thronged at Prasad Lab for the audio launch of ‘Ayyan’.

Addressing media channels and special invitees, Maestro Ilayaraja mentioned that debutant Gajendran has done a splendid job with his distinct style of moviemaking. He didn’t miss to add the fact that personally he liked the film very much and nonetheless, it’s audiences who have ultimate power to decide the results.

‘Ayyan’ features Mamadurai Vasan and newcomer Divya Padmini in lead roles. The album boasts of not just Ilayaraja’s music, but has lyrical lines penned by famous writer Sirpi Balasubramanian, Na. Muthukumar, Vaali, Kavinyar Mu Mehta.
