AR Rahman Fans Disappointed

Having lost to ‘Social Network’, A.R. Rahman fans are disappointed for Madras Mozart couldn’t fetch Golden Globe for ‘Best Original Score’.

A.R. Rahman’s global recognition with ‘Slumdog Millionaire’ was to be replaced by his upcoming Hollywood release ‘127 Hours’. The film directed by Danny Boyle is based on the novel penned by Aron Ralston, an American mountaineer, who spent 127 hours between the canyons… A.R. Rahman was nominated for the ‘Best Original Score’ while the other contenders were ‘Alice in the Wonderland’, ‘The Social Network’ and ‘Inception’.

‘The Social Network’ made a clean sweep bagging 4 awards including Best Music by Trend Reznor and Atticus Ross.

Now that Madras Mozart has lost ‘Golden Globe’, the fans are curiously looking upon for the Big-Time in Oscars.
