5 Different Treats for Diwali

Five films to hit the screens on the festive occasion of Diwali. They are of different genre, which will attract the audiences of different tastes.

Five films are being released on Diwali day including Utthamaputhiran and Mynaa. High budgeted films are being released only on Diwali after a month of release of Endhiran. There is news that even this time the high budgeted films which are backed up by political party is being released, 20 small budgeted films have been deprived of theaters. Utthamaputhiran which has Dhanush and Genelia in the cast, Mynaa which has new faces directed by Prabhu Solomon, Vallakottai which has Arjun and Haripriya in the lead roles and the film Va Quarter Cutting directed by Pushkar- Gayathri are being released on Diwali day. Apart from this the Tamil dubbed English film Street Dance will also hit the screens.

Utthamaputhiran was supposed to be released by Sun Pictures. Even during the audio launch function of Utthamaputhiran, Sun pictures CEO Saxena also mentioned that this film will be released by Sun Pictures. But after this there was no talk about it. Since Sun Pictures is still busy with the promo work of Endhiran, the Utthamaputhiran matter has been dropped. Now this film is being released in 600 theatres.

Udhayanidhi Stalin has acquired the theatrical rights of Mynaa. The film which has new face Vidarth and Amala Paul in the cast is being directed by Prabhu Solomon. This film is being released in 170 theatres.

Dayanidhi Azhagiri is releasing the film Vaa Quarter Cutting which has Mirchi Shiva and Lekha Washington has been directed by Pushkar-Gayathri. This film is being released on 150 theatres.

which has Arjun and Hari Priya in the lead roles is being directed by A Venkatesh. This film is being released in 180 theatres.
