Ilaiyaraaja gets the pride of receiving Harivarasanam award from Kerala!

Been the ‘Maestro’ of Indian Film Music Industry, we knew that ‘Isaignani’ Ilaiyaraaja had the honor of receiving multiple awards for his compositions and contributions to Indian Cinema such that his awards list includes another prestigious award from Kerala state this year. In the custom of honoring talents of music every year, the Government of Kerala state had announced this year that Ilaiyaraaja will be receiving the most exquisite Harivarasanam award for his excellence in Music Industry which is scheduled to happen on January 15th, 2020, at the temple of Sabarimala, Kerala which is then followed by the live performance of Ilaiyaraaja. Added to this, this prestigious award is known for being honored earlier to singers like KJ Yesudas, K. S. Chithra, P. Susheela, M. G. Sreekumar and many others by the Government of Kerala state.
