Having the release of Udhayanidhi Stalin and Tammannah starrer ‘Kanne Kalaimaane’ on February 22nd, Vijay Sethupathi has been on board for Seenu Ramasamy’s directorial ‘Maamanithan’ along with the bankrolling of S N Rajarajan’s ‘K Productions’ and Yuvan Shankar Raja’s ‘YSR Films’ with the musical strings of ‘Maestro’ Ilayaraja. Been working on a speedy shooting schedule for almost 60 days, the team has finished off the shooting recently for ‘Maamanithan’. Announcing this update officially, Seenu Ramasamy has tweeted in his official twitter handle stating that, “It's a wrap for Maamanithan. All credit goes to my cast and crew for their effort and hard work. Eager to listen the songs and BGM from Isaignani for our canned visuals. Dubbing starts shortly.” Along with Vijay Sethupathi, the cast involves Gayathrie, K. P. A. C. Lalitha, Guru Somasundaram and Shaji Chen in prominent roles. Cinematography handled by M. Sukumar, editing for ‘Maamanithan’ is done by Sreekar Prasad.
