The three movies, ‘Kolamaavu Kokila’, ‘Marainthirunthu Paarkum Marmam Enna’ and ‘Odu Raja Odu’ will be hitting the screens this week.
The movies ‘Viswaroopam 2’ and ‘Pyaar Prema Kaadhal’ were pumping out on screens with great response last week. Continued with this, three movies are about to flow in theatres this week. The movies can be enlisted as –
1) ‘Kolamaavu Kokila’ aka ‘CoCo’ – In movies lined up with female centric roles, next to ‘Anaamika’, ‘Maya’, ‘Dora’ and ‘Aram’, Nayanthara’s much awaited movie ‘Kolamaavu Kokila’ is hitting the screens this week. Directed by the debut director Nelson and music composed by Anirudh, the movie involves Nayanthara as an innocent girl along with Sharanya Ponvannan in the role of Nayanthara’s mom, Shivaji Rao in the role of Nayan’s father and Yogi Babu as a one side lover. Bankrolled under the banner of ‘Lyca Productions’ for ‘CoCo’, the camera is handled by Sivakumar Vijayan. With the story of a middle class family getting a drug which values for multiple crores and the consequences followed by that, the trailer and audio tracks of ‘CoCo’ has been piling up with good response and high expectations much before the release.
2) ‘Marainthirunthu Paarkum Marmam Enna’ – Bankrolled under the banner of V. Mathiyalagan and R Ramya’s ‘Etcetera Entertainment’, this movie is directed by R. Rahesh who has previously assisted Director Mohan Raja. The cast involving ‘Thevar’ movie fame Dhruva and ‘Bigg Boss’ Season 2 fame Aishwarya Dutta in the lead roles, Anjena Kirti, J. D. Chakravarthy, Mime Gopi, Ramachandran Durairaj, Nagineedu, Raviraj, Manobala, Aruldoss, Sharanya Ponvannan and Radharavi will be playing the supportive roles in this movie. Cinematography handled by P. G. Muthiah and the music for this movie is composed by Achu Rajamani.
The movie is stated to carry the strong message of Mahatma Gandhi’s context stating that India will be independent only when a woman is allowed to walk freely in road at 12 AM. Having the message, this release of this movie is said to face more troubles and controversies in getting censored from censor board.
3) ‘Odu Raja Odu’ – Directed by debut directors Jathin Sanker Raj and Nishant Ravindran, this black comedy thriller is bankrolled by ‘Vijay Moolan Talkies’. The cast of this movie involves ‘Joker’ fame actor Guru Somasundaram with Lakshmi Priya, Simran, Nassar, Ashiqa Salvan, Ravindra Vijay and Sona Heiden in important characters. With the men behind the lens and as directors Jathin Sanker Raj and Nishant Ravindran of the movie, the music is composed by Tosh Nanda.
Having the story of man who wants to buy a set up box which directs him into a trouble along with the involvement of all the characters around him, this movie is stated to have unexpected twists and turns throughout and expected to have a success with good response.
