Aruvi to speak about societal politics

Following the success of Joker, Kaashmora and Kootathil Oruthan, Dream Warrior Pictures’ next is titled ‘Aruvi’.

Dream Warrior Pictures has been involved in the production of top-notch movies like Joker, Kaashmora and Kootathil Oruthan. It is now gearing up for its next release titled ‘Aruvi’, directed by Arun Prabhu, who earlier worked with directors like Balu Mahendra and K.S. Ravikumar as long time associate. The film is reported to feature a premise that will speak about the societal politics, which can be reflected by each and every audience.

Sharing the crafting process of ‘Aruvi, the official press release featuring the words from team claims that the audition for the female protagonist’s role happened nearly for 8 months, where Aditi Balan was chosen among 500 candidates.

She played the role of Aruvi and the incidents that happens in her life forms the premise of the story. The film can be perceived in two different points of view, where one could be as the biography of a girl and other as a story based on societal issues. Apart from Aditi, Hyderabad based Muhammad Ali Faikh, Anjali Varadhan (Transgender), Kannada actress Lakshmi Gopalasamy, Madan and around 20 actors have played important roles in this film. Even before the film would have a theatrical release, it has already garnered huge response various International film festivals across the world.

Bindu Menon and Vedanth Bharadwaj have composed music for this film, with Shelley Calist handling cinematography and Raymod Derrick Crasta editing.

Aruvi scheduled for release shortly is produced by SR Prakash Babu ad SR Prabhu under the banner of Dream Warrior Pictures.
