Having made a stunning impact in Telugu box office, Balakrishna starrer Gautami Putra Satakarni is getting dubbed in Tamil. The film is directed by Krish, man behind some of the super hit movies like Leader, Vedam and its Tamil remake Vaanam and few more. Speaking on the occasion of the audio launch Balakrishna said, “I grew up drinking Chennai water and I am one among you all. If not for the inspirations of my father NTR and my uncles MGR and Sivaji Ganesan, this wouldn’t have been possible. They are the main inspirations for me to perform the majestic king role. When I was to do my 100th film, I came across different scripts and wanted to try something different. Apparently, Krish came up with a story that was completely unique and it is about a honourable king who ruled our region. It will encompass the emotional values of mother-son relationship as well.”

On his part, Karthi who graced over the occasion said, “Our people in Tamil Nadu celebrated NTR and Nageshwara Rao even before the realms of MGR and Sivaji Ganesan. I’m sure this film would have its earnest support from Tamil Nadu people.”
