With the entire music and film industry grieving the demise of late veteran Carnatic singer Legendary K. Balamuralikrishna, veteran actor Sivakumar has conveyed his condolence message sharing some of the best memories about him.

“Honourable Balamuralikrishna is a Bhishmar in the world of Carnatic music. He has won great laurels and accolades over the Indian musical panorama and such eminent personalities would never prefer getting into films. But crossing such confinements, the legendary singer made his graceful presence with his voice in Late filmmaker A.P. Nagarajan, where he crooned the song ‘Oru Naal Podhuma’ for T.S. Balaiyya in Thiruvilaiyadal. This song becomes the earnest reason of contributing 25% to the film’s success and he never crooned any duet songs for other heroes. I am so much privileged that after many years, he crooned a song ‘Chinna Kannan Azhaikiraar’ from my film Kavikuyil, which featured me alongside Sridevi as Krishna-Radha avatar. I am still spellbound over this greatest bliss of having his voice for my song… I deeply pray for his soul to rest in peace….”
