Ladukio
Singer: Yazin Nizar
Lyrics: Annamalai

The first song in this album comes up with fresh elements, but it isn’t the usual melody of Vijay Antony trademark. It lacks certain aspects that it would make it more appealing, but with the time brewing it could bring up more prominence. Nevertheless, the rendition by Yazin Nizar deserves special mention.

Jayalakshmi
Singer: Yazin Nizar
Lyrics: Annamalai

The song sounds almost psychotic and offers some eeriness throughout your senses. There is a sort of anguish, wrath and vengeance filled up through a man’s deplorable and retaliating motto. Definitely, this is not a song that would on the list of music lovers, but might gain its impact with the situational placement.

Yedhedho
Singer: Vijay Antony
Lyrics: Eknaath

A song that traverses through the feeling of a man who has been dashed down with his lost love... Eknaath has used simple yet heart-binding words that would be easily relayed with lay people. The instrumentals used during interludes and preludes are pretty much from usual paradigms of Vijay Antony and as usual he manages to steal the show with his intonating style.

Opaari
Singer: Chinna Ponnu
Lyrics: Chinna Ponnu

There is something more appalling with the album of ‘Saithan’ as most of lyrics in few songs are disturbing and definitely not the one to be preferred on playlist. Obviously, this number has that quotient, which might pull up our attention when viewed with the proper placement in the film with visuals.

Saithan Theme
Singer: Vijay Antony
Lyrics: Vijay Antony

This track actually had different lyrics during the teaser, but was later replaced with these words by Vijay Antony in accordance t some protest. Nevertheless, it has the best impact with the instrumentals and the way it is orchestrated.

Saithan Title Track

Of course, finally with the ending portion of this album, you find something more with a heavy punch. This title track clearly gives a neat picture of what this film’s genre is all about. It beholds fantasy, mystery, thrill with emotional quotients that are projected through the fortepianos you hear during the track.

On the whole, what we get distinctly after listening to the complete album of ‘Saithan’ is that it is not something that you can carry downloaded in your playlist for most of them are not so recommended for your leisure hearing. It comes up with some eeriness, revenge and mystery, which it sounds like something more placing with the screenplay.

Verdict : Not for the usual listeners of Vijay Antony, looks blunt with hard-hitting psychotic and revenge theme based lyrics.
