Vijay Sethupathi, the outspoken man never hesitates to express his views and is always best on uttering anything straight from his shoulders. The actor in his recent interview was asked about his competition with Sivakarthikeyan, for which he replied, “Sivakarthikeyan and I never created such hypes of being competitors for we are thick friends. But it’s the circle around us that made such scenarios. I request fans to support us and not fight in the name of fandom. No one liked or appreciated Vijay Sethupathi as a man, but it’s audiences who made me feel special as an actor.”
Getting on to speak about Sivakarthikeyan’s Maan Karate reference in one of his songs for upcoming film ‘Rekka’, he said, “Director Rathinam Siva happened to tell me lots of reference like Rajinikanth, Kamal, Ajith, Vijay, Dhanush, etc. But I felt that it has been seen in many movies and I suggested Sivakarthikeyan’s Maan Karate reference.”
