When a film is announced, it gradually increases the lots of expectations and sometimes, when they are not to the expected levels, it’s a disappointment. Here is a list of 10 disappointing movies of 2015 Release wise.

1. Enakkul Oruvan (Mar -06)

A remake of super hit Kannada film ‘Lucia’, the film had kept us awaited with lots of decent anticipations, but eventually failed to make it positive in the box office.

The film starred Siddarth, Deepa Sannidhi and Srishti Dange in lead roles.

2. Uttama Villain (May -02)

Though the film had a poignant content, it couldn’t be perceived well among the general audiences. It is significantly winning lots of awards though, the film didn’t perform well in box office.

3. Eli (June -19)

It was regarded as a comeback film of Comedy King Vadivelu, but to a pathetic disappointment, it couldn’t retain the audiences in theatres for a long time.

4. Vasuvum Saravananum Onna Padichavanga (Aug 14)

With the team carrying the brand ‘Boss Engira Baskaran’, there was a lots of curiosities to watch this movie. But to a disappointment, it didn’t make even half the substantiality in entertainment of the previous collaboration of same team involving Arya-Santhanam-Rajesh.

5. Paayum Puli (Sep - 04)

‘Pandiya Naadu’ was the word and brand to keep the theatres hooked up with more outlooks. On the flip, the team of Vishal-Suseenthiran-D Imman couldn’t recreate the magic.

6. Yatchan (Sep - 11)

While Vishnuvardhan had managed to offer a super hit film ‘Arrambam’, the next film ‘Yatchan’ was quite a low profile one featuring Arya, Krishna, Deepa Sannidhi and Subramaniapuram Swathi in lead roles. The film looked little outdated in terms of entertainment and didn’t get the best score.

7. Puli (Oct -01)

Experimenting with a new genre of fantasy, the film boasting of A-league technicians and actors couldn’t make it a better time. Ilayathalapathy Vijay fans were literally disappointed for the film not living up to the expectations, directed by Chimbu Devan.

8. 10 Endradhukulla (Oct -21)

‘Goli Soda’ fame Vijay Milton teaming up with Vikram soon after ‘I’ was turning the spotlights upon him. Moreover, the first look teaser and the stylish looks of Vikram and Samantha kept us so much hooked up. But it was a disappointing show on overall.

9. Inji Iduppazhagi (Nov - 27)

Anushka Shetty’s scrupulous efforts went in vain! A single word to delineate the film made simultaneously in Tamil and Telugu.

10. Thanga Magan (Dec -18)

Coming straight from the successful team of ‘Velai Illa Pattadhaari’, Dhanush-Velraj-Anirudh along with Samantha and Amy Jackson brand names left us disappointed. A single word verdict perhaps to describe the film.
