Anushka Shetty has been apparently a great iconic emblem of Indian film industry with back to back magnum opuses like Baahubali and Rudramadevi. Now she has done a remarkable attempt with this new experiment in ‘Inji Iduppazhagi’, where she has done something that any actress would never attempt for. The film simultaneously made in Tamil and Telugu stars Arya in lead role and MM Keeravani of Baahubali has composed music.

Size Zero
Singers: Neeti Mohan, Noel Sean, Rahul, Prakash Raj
Lyrics: Madhan Karky

The bunch of singers have their best in this fun-filled number, which seemingly sounds like an introduction track of Anushka Shetty. Neeti Mohan is already the reigning princess of South music industry and Noel Sean along with Rahul make an appealing impact.

Mella Mella
Singer: Shweta Pandit
Lyrics: Madhan Karky

All praise goes to Shweta Pandit for resplendently crooning this number, which takes into a soulful mood. The preludes and interludes are the greatest icing of the cake here. You’ll be finding a male version of this track by the end of this album, which again is pleasant.

Song: Size Sexy
Singer: N.S.K Ramya
Lyrics: Madhan Karky

It sounds like an item number, which could bring in some glamorous girl with voluptuous attribute shaking legs. NSK Ramya is known for some best mellisonant tracks and here she comes up shifting her paradigms to a different genre and the result is good indeed.

Song: Kannaalam
Singer: Damini, Palak Muchhal, Mohana Bhogaraju
Lyrics: Madhan Karky

The marriage song has some beauty by its nature and irrespective of what it actually creates is something we have to see on the screens. The grandeur by visuals is more than enough to enhance the composing by MM Keeravani.

Singer: Ranjith, Adithya
Lyrics: Madhan Karky, Noel Sean, Kanika

An inspiring number that gets into a different zone from rest of the tracks, where the composing is exquisite with peppy beats with singers Ranjith and Aditya offering the best spell through their rendition. The lyricists Madhan Karky, Noel Sean and Kanika bring in a perfect blend through the mix of lines of English and Tami.

Mella Mella
Singer: Kaala Bhairava
Lyrics: Madhan Karky

We heard the song quite in the initial phase of the track and this is something quite enhanced than the female version. Kaala Bhairava renders the song with more elegance and it could be better when seen on the screens.

On the whole, the songs by Keeravani are middling, while Mele Mele has some intriguing admiration among the listeners. With most of the songs sounding much alike Telugu flavour, it might take some more time for the tracks to get to our attention.

Verdict : Good in places
