Pandiya Naadu – It’s a more than enough brand to mark a great success with great brands like Suseenthiran, Vishal and D Imman. This time, they are back with new genre of film and music in ‘Paayum Puli’. The film is produced by Vendhar Movies and is directed by Suseenthiran with Vishal and Kajal Aggarwal playing the lead roles.

Silukku Marame
Singers: Divya Kumar and Shashaa Thirupathi

The song has been making sensationalism with its single track release from couple of weeks back in time. One of the major highlights in this song is the choice of singers. D Imman supposedly has tuned this song with a purpose of showcasing something different from his previous compositions and the lyrical lines of Vairamuthu makes it more appealing.

Puli Puli Paayum Puli
Singer: Malgudi Subha

Somewhere, the song has some catchy elements like chorus and interludes. Malgudi Subha known for her husky bold voice manages to steal the show, but overall it sounds mediocre and the background with visuals on the screens might elevate its standards.

Yaar Indha Muyalkutty
Singer: Armaan Maalik

Too ordinary when heard on the tracks and it doesn’t impress us heavily and if you’re looking up for something called USP, it would be precisely the vocalism of Armaan Maalik.

Singer: Diwakar

Airtel Super Singer title winner Diwakar is known for singing all the songs with full exhilarations and this one isn’t an exception. But the song is just an average fare and it sounds like D Imman had composed it effortlessly.

Naa Soodani Mogini
Singer: Jyoti Nooran

Not an efficient number and doesn’t attract our senses anywhere. Be it instrumental parts or the vocalising style, it’s a below average track.

On the whole, it’s not the best album from the team, which had delivered a tremendous album ‘Pandiya Naadu’ with at least three songs on the Chartbuster list. Except Silukku Marame, rest of the songs are too average.

Verdict: An unexpected disappointment from Imman
