Dhanush-Vetrimaaran create history in 72 years

Filmmaker Vetrimaaran has been making movies that commercially click well in box office and on pars winning incredible critical acclaims. It has been so much evident with his movies like Polladhavan and Aadukalam followed by his world renowned ‘Kaaka Muttai’ that was produced by him in collaboration with Dhanush’s Wunderbar Films. Now the same duo of producers have a special delight of rejoicing moment as their upcoming production ‘Visaranai’ becomes the first ever Tamil film to be screened at much acclaimed Venice International Film Festival. Gleeful to this, Vetrimaaran has said that it’s been 72 years of prestigious Venice Film Festival and this is the first time, a Tamil film is being screened there.

Visaranai is based on a novel ‘Lock Up’ written by Auto Chandirakumar on his personal experience and it stars Attakathi Dinesh, Samuthirakani, Kishore and Arul doss in lead roles.
