Robin Williams has been an inspirer of many across the globe and Kamal Haasan is no exception. While some of his best entertainers like Avvai Shanmughi and Vasool Raja MBBS were inspired from his Mrs. Doubtfire and Patch Adams, Kamal Haasan is so much broken down in shock on hearing the demise of Robin Williams. In his condolence letter, he has mentioned, “Comedians are invariably critics of society who have masked their anger with humour. Constantly maintaining a funny façade leads to depression. Robin Williams’ true nature is being quick to tears. You can see it in his films. He could have been a star in the 60’s, for American film heroes were too scared to cry on screen.” Adding more he says that if what he hears about Robin Williams has committed suicide is true, then he hates him.
