Salman Khan had a big bang second innings, incisively because of his continuous success of South Indian remakes that started with Wanted, a remake of Pokkiri. His yesterday release ‘Kick’, a remake of Telugu movie with the same title has seen a massive opening across all the centres. In the recent times, the actor has been taking up films that are socially connected and his previous ‘Jai Ho was a clear illustration, which again is a remake of AR Murugadoss’ Telugu movie ‘Stalin’. Kick actually deals with a man who does everything for Kick and that includes looting away a huge money for rescuing the kids from a serious problem. While both the versions in Telugu and Tamil had same script, the Hindi remake seems to be quite a difference from them. One of the reasons is that Salman Khan brought in India’s most celebrated novelist Chetan Bhagat who has included some additional emotions to the script of extending the father-son relationship, bringing in a baddie (Nawazuddin Siddiqui).
