Vimal is definitely the safest bet of producers and distributors. They bank on him without any deliberate thoughts. Such has been his impact in box office and now Thirrupathi Brothers becomes the one to enjoy this privilege. Producing his upcoming film ‘Manja Pai’ scheduled for release on this Friday (June 6), the film is getting a good response prior to the release in both urban and rural areas.

Director Lingusamy and Subash Chandra Bose under the banner of Thirrupathi Brothers have produced many hit movies and have distributed it as well.

Manja Pai as the title suggests is about the grandpa (played by Raj Kiran) of the protagonist (played by Vimal). Usually the old men from village are referred to such synonyms as they have the yellow coloured bags. So far, Raj Kiran has been seen playing serious roles and for the first time will be taking up a humorous role. It is worth mentioning that Raj Kiran had obtained a substantial role in Lingusamy’s Sandakozhi…

The career graph of Vimal has been shooting up gradually and with Desingu Raja, he scaled good heights with 200 plus theatres in Tamil Nadu alone. Now, Manja Pai breaks his own record of hitting more than 300 theatres in TN. There is yet another lucky factor between Lakshmi Menon and Lingusamy and it’s Kumki.

Lakshmi Menon has made a stunning performance in Naan Sigappu Manithan and her paradigm has taken a new dimension with this. In fact, she has been most-sought actress in town with this film.

Initially Gibran was signed to compose music, but on the spur of moment he opted out and was later replaced by N.R. Raghunathan. He has done a pretty job with the songs and the song ‘Paathu Paathu’ crooned by Hariharasudhan and Vandana Srinivasan is already a huge hit.
