When the commercial movies from South were on the relentless remake by the Khans of Bollywood, Bejoy Nambiar goes for a different spell by picking an exceptionally unconventional film 'Pizza', which astonished each and everyone in the town including the film producers and directors. A film made in a small budget with technical excellence and engaging screenplay left everyone awestruck. Now, director Bejoy Nambir of Getaway Films in collaboration with Siddarth Roy Kapoor of UTV Spotboy has remade the film in Hindi with the same title that is directed by Akshay Akkineni.

There is a lot of difference in treatment of this film from what we saw in Karthik Subburaj's 'Pizza' and this remake version trailer. Here, the makers want to pull the crowd into theatres by showcasing the 'Horror' factors, which didn't happen with Tamil version. The protagonist with chubby cheeks and fair skin would suit a mafia or lover boy role, but not as a pizza delivery boy. Over and again, his face shown in close-ups with dangerous smile evokes a kind of mystery, but it seems to be an unwanted element.

What would be a spotlight factor is the film is made in 3D and the horripilations will be more to experience some of the elements borrowed from 'The Ring', 'Grudge' and 'Paranormal Activity'.

Verdict: The touch of original 'Pizza' goes missing in spite of more horror showcased.
