There are two things that you’ll come across ‘Cuckoo’ trailer. One is that it binds you emotionally and creates a melting point in hearts with dialogues like ‘The men with eyes are everywhere, but not often we see the men with pure hearts’. It symbolises the characterisation of Tamizh (played by Attakathi fame Dinesh). The film ‘Cuckoo’ holds a close connection with humanity, hope and love. The dialogues are very carved and it adds the right intensity to the script.

On the flip side, it gives a feeling that why the physically special people can’t enjoy a happy life. Anurag Basu attempted it all with his ‘Barfi’ and then there is the internationally acclaimed film ‘Colour of Paradise’. These films completely travelled on the love and human spirits. There was no pain and heaviness.

Verdict: Leaves a strong impression, but in a stereotypical manner.
