In many cases the Hollywood movies are the re-creation of a true story or a novel. Likewise this movie is also a re-creation of a novel written by Suzanne Collins in 2008. The first part was released in 2012 and became a great success and the second of it named "The Hunger Games - Catching Fire" has been released now. More than 1000 crores has been spend in the making of the movie and it has collected more than 1800 crores in first 3weeks (source - IMDB). Lets review the second part whether it has did justice to the first one or not.
According to the story, the first part of Hunger games was the 74th year and winners in that was our Katniss Everdeen (Jennifer Lawrence) and Peeta Mellark (Josh Hutcherson). Many opposition and many people raise against the Hunger Games and to bring the situation under control President Snow conducts the 75th Hunger Games as "The Quarter Qual", where the last 24 years winners will be allowed to play and only one will be remaining in the end. What was all the difference in scene and game style and who are the winners are the rest of the story.
Though it has the mask of an action movie, Love, Romance and Sentiments has major share in this movie and thanks to director Francis Lawrence for that. Screenplay was a rip from the book of Suzanne Collins and it well written by Simon and Michael. Cinematography was handles by Jo Willems and music has been done by James Newton and Howard.
Watching the second part with expectation of the first part, then you will be fooled. The movie runs for 2 hours 20 minutes and more than1.30 hours only the conversation goes on. The new types of hurdles gives a fresh look to the movie but the same location as the previous part is a little disappointment.
More action sequences and different places can be a worth watch for The Hunger Games Catching Fire. But what so ever the movie can be seen for Jennifer Lawrence.
