What's the formula of turning a song into a Chartbuster? Simple, gain wizardry over understanding the pulse of listeners and you'll conquer them eventually. Undoubtedly, Achu seems to be one among the young league of music directors scaling decent heights with his musical spell. His debut album 'Maalai Pozhudhin Mayakathilaey' stands out as a perfect illustration to it. This time, he comes up with a mixture of folk and western appeal in 'Summa Nachunu Irukku' that has a bunch of newbies in lead roles with Power Star Srinivasan playing important character. The film is produced by B Vimal under the banner of Esthell Entertainers.
Voices: Naveen Madhav, Sree Chitra
Lyrics: Vimala Britto
The lines keep ringing in our senses for ages for it carries such an impactful factor. Imagine its visual significance with Power Star Srinivas in magnificent colorful backdrops. The vocalism by Naveen Madhav and Sree Chitra is powering and the percussions along with other instrumentals serve up to the best.
I Love You
Fall in love with at the very first time you hear it as it sweeps you completely with mesmerizing tunes. Achu has done a fantastic job with both his musical score and intonating style. 'I Love You' is sure to make a big mark in audio markets and has more chances to hold a good position in year's Top 10 Songs.
Voices: T Rajendar, Achu, Thaman
Lyrics: S.P.L. Perumal
This one moves little far from the previous albums and it's completely set in backdrops of Gaana style. With a different combination of singers like T Rajendar, Achu and Thaman, the song has some funny lyrics based on love failure. It may take some time for the song to brew, but will eventually catch up with a good position soon in charts.
Lyrics: Na. Muthukumar
Sounds like the song should easily capture the senses of party animals for the techno beats and the synthesizers keep the western appeal spread vastly throughout the track. Suchitra is the right choice picked by Achu. The sensuous appeal is very much evident with this song and it looks like the visuals should have more for us.
Voices: Velmurugan, Srilekha Parthasarathy
Lyrics: Na. Muthukumar
The fast-paced Gaana folk song crooned by Velmurugan and Srilekha Parthsarathy sounds like a good combination. But it sounds little noisy and the lyrics by Na. Muthukumar are passable. The frontbenchers can expect some good treat to them in theatres with this song.
Overall, Achu has delivered a decorous work in this album with 'I Love You' and 'En Aalu' remaining as cherry-picks from this album. It's obvious that the film carries a youthful subject and the music has been done accordingly to the right appeal.
Verdict: Celebration of youthful feast
