Touching an incredulous graph of success, comedy actor Santhanam is all set for a new avatar as producer for this film Kanna Laddu Thinna Aasaiya. The film is produced in collaboration with Rama Narayanan with Santhanam, newcomer Sethu and Power Star Dr Srinivasan playing lead roles. Thamman has scored music for this album that has 6 tracks. Before listening to this album, you’ll make sure that it’s a hilarious entertainer and there is nothing to brood over the songs.

Aasaiya Alai Pole
Vocals: Ranjith and Rahul Nambiar

The song is composed in the remix style of classic song ‘Aasaiya Alai Pole’ with newfangled lyrics. Ranjith and Rahul Nambiar showcase their energetic spell with their powerful songs that is expected to be a title song. Let’s hope, it’s going to be a trio treat from Santhanam-Sethu-Power Star combo.

Vocals: MLR Karthikeyan, Senthil, Sam P Keerthan

The song cans the real life activities of Dr Srinivasan as he makes up with huge posters and social welfare activities. The song begins with the local Kuthu beat suddenly shifting to a different genre of western track that slightly resembles ’50 Cents’. The visuals should add more intensity of humour with the performance of Power Star.

Duet Song
Vocals: Muralidhar, Rahul Nambiar and Ranjith

The song has peppy beats and the composition by Thamman is completely done to capture the interests of youngsters. To make sure that the onscreen characters maintain their prominence in the film, Thamman has used the same playback singers Rahul Nambiar and Ranjith for this song as well.

Hey Unnathan
Vocals: Ranjith, Rahul Nambiar, Naveen Madhav and Suchitra

This one sounds like a dream song of three heroes shaking legs with their dream girl Vishaka. Suchitra renders her voice in a unique way shifting the paradigms while Ranjith, Rahul Nambiar and Naveen Madhav retain their vocalisms with same panache.

Love Letter
Vocals: Gaana Bala and Mukesh

A couple of lines from this song in the teaser have already captivated our senses with Santhanam’s lines in TR style (Appatakkaru, Love Letteru). In the recent times, Gaana Bala has been persistently hitting headlines for his innovative songs that include ‘Attakathi’ and a classic style song in ‘Pizza’. The song will be a treat to everyone, especially frontbenchers.

Vocals: Gaana Bala and Mukesh

This has already become a favourite song for many youngsters in town for its catchy lyrics that evokes huge laughter as we hear it for the first time. It’s been a long time we heard a Gaana song. Gaana Bala and Mukesh have rendered the song in an apt way that will suit the actors on screens.

Coming now to mark the final word on Kanna Laddu Thinna Aasaiya songs, they are quite enjoyable for time-pass moments. Naturally, it’s a comedy film with laughter rioters like Santhanam, Power Star and VTV Ganesh to rock on screens.

Verdict: Middling effort.
