The Kerala Film Exhibitors Federation has proposed a hike in the service charge from Rs 2 to 5 and the talks with minister Ganesh Kumar today has ended in a stalemate with both the parties failing to arrive at a conclusion.
Further, there is a split in the Kerala Film Exhibitors Federation with a faction opposing the strike announced from tomorrow. Following this, the release of two Malayalam films, 101 Weddings and 916 have been postponed.
