Ajay visits a coffee shop soon after he lands in an opportunity to direct a film. At this coffee shop he meets Jia and both soon turn into good friends. Ajay falls in love with Jia on first sight and with the heavy downpour gets the opportunity to develop his friendship with her.

At the same time a married couple, Sathish and Ramya arrive with their kid to the coffee shop. Due to differences of opinion, the couple do not talk to each other and wait for the rain to subside. On the other hand, the coffee shop manager is a depressed man owing to a lot of problems that he has to face.

In the two-hour period which Ajay spends at this coffee shop with Jia, he discloses his love for her but she refuses him and goes home despite the rain lashing out. Sathish, in the meantime, tells his problems to the coffee shop manager who helps him realise the meaning of life.

When Jia is on her way home, she realises the true love professed by Ajay and returns back to the coffee shop. There she sees Sathish and Ramya seated together in harmony along with their kid while Ajay stands out in the rain. Jia immediately discloses her love for him and the two unite.

In the end, Ajay’s goal to make a film also turns out to be a success and the manager’s problems also get solved…!

Positives: Very different attempt… Gopi Amarnath’s poetic cinematography

Negatives: The drama-like acting by all the actors and actresses is a major drawback, songs and way it has been placed.

In Total: The entire film is set within a few hours; despite all scenes shot in the coffee shop, attempt has been made to make the film appealing.

What the audiences say: Came expecting a very different love story but there’s nothing in it except dialogues. The director has tried to narrate a small story in a big way. Film is ok!
