Trisha's Special Request for Diwali

An active member of PETA Foundation, actress Trisha has requested her fans to avoid crackers for this Diwali.

Actress Trisha has been ritually sticking to her portfolio as brand ambassador for the association of People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals. She has been indeed involved in the publicity campaign for the well being and proper care of the animals, especially the abandoned and the stray pets.

This Diwali, she has requested her fans not to burst crackers so as to ensure that the pets are safe and happy.

PETA India focuses primarily on the areas in which the greatest numbers of animals suffer the most: in the food and leather industries, in laboratories and in the entertainment industry. PETA India's investigative work, public education efforts, research, animal rescues, legislative work, special events, celebrity involvement and national media coverage have resulted in countless improvements to the quality of life for animals and have saved countless animals' lives.
