Will 'Ramana' Go to Bollywood?

Latest buzzes rounding upon airs is that A.R. Murugadoss might remake ‘Ramana’ in Hindi as the demand is more in Bollywood for the recent sensational issue of ‘Anna Hazare’ and ‘Lokpal Bill’.

Sources say that Bollywood actors wants to use the anti corruption wave in their films. Many of the Bollywood heroes wanted to remake the Tamil film Ramana which had Vijayakanth in the lead role. This film was directed by A R Murugadoss. The top actors of Bollywood have seen the film Ramana. They feel that there will be good response among the people if Ramana which speaks about anti corruption is remade at this point of time since the whole nation is protesting against corruption.

Murugadoss while speaking said, “After remaking Ghajini in Hindi I wanted to remake Ramana in Hindi. But that did not materialize. After the release of Surya starrer Ezham Arivu I am doing a film with Vijay. After I will be joining hands with Akshay in a Hindi film.”
