A R Rahman's Rises to Nomination Again

A R Rahman’s ‘If I Rise’ (127 Hours) has been nominated for ‘Best Original Song written directly for a film’.

A R Rahman has been gaining more and more international acclaims for his spellbinding works. The Madras Mozart had recently transfixed everyone with his ‘Super Heavy’ music that is doing greater rounds in audio markets. Winning more accolades for ‘Slumdog Millionaire’, the music director managed to get into the nomination in same category of awards for ‘127 Hours’.

The song 'If I Rise' from 127 Hours nominated for the World Soundtrack Awards in the category - 'Best original song written directly for a film'. The event will be held at Ghent, Belgium on the 22nd of October.

Meanwhile, A R Rahman is all set to give a treat for Indian audiences with his Hindi album ‘Rock Star’ that will soon hit the stands of audio stores.
