It’s Kollywood fever everywhere in Bollywood as the producers are keen on remaking the successful South Indian movies. Following the huge success of ‘Wanted’, ‘Ready’ and ‘Singam’, the number of remake is running into monstrous figures.

Ajay Devgn’s Hindi remake of ‘Singham’ had a grand opening in Box office and is reported to be the second biggest grosser in 2011.Now its turn for Akshay kumar, as he opts for remake of Karthi starrer ‘Siruthai’.

The original version ‘Vikramakudu’ directed by SS Rajamouli starring Ravi Teja and Anushka in lead roles was a blockbuster.
