Kadhalil Sodhappuvadhu Yeppadi
Celebrating the Valentine’s month with lots of romantic releases and we have already couple of such flicks hitting screens together – Muppozhudhum Un Karpanaigal and Kadhalil Sodhapuvadhu Yeppadi. While the former one is touted to be a romantic thriller, Kadhalil Sodhapuvadhu Yeppadi stands out as a romantic comedy.
The film has a wafer-thin storyline that focalizes on the basic clashes between a young lad and fille in love. Its day-to-day encounters of a boy-girl combat depicted in a funny way. Very rare we do see full-length feature movies inspired from short films and this one becomes a clear-cut illustration spearheading with this concept.
Final Word – Kadhalil Sodhapuvadhu Yeppadi is a fun-filled romantic comedy with light moments and is a best way to kill your time.
The film is directed by Balaji Mohan, who made the short film and is produced by Sashikanth of Y Not Studios in collaboration with Siddarth and cinematographer Nirav Shah.
As mentioned earlier, there is nothing specific to mention about the film’s synopsis as it revolves around the love encounters of boy and gal as pettifoggers. Special credits to Balaji Mohan for delineating his actors as characters and not as artists, for it’s not an easy task to emerge with such great efforts right on his maiden debut.
Revealing much on the film’s scenes would take away the right spirit to watch the film and we assure you that if you’re gonna watch, it’s a best entertainment you can afford for this season. Siddarth with his innocuous looks scores brownie points and this becomes his major factors of attraction while Amala Paul with her trendy looks carries away with the realistic shades of her characterization. Specifically, it’s a great time for the Kerala girl as she has gone through complete transformation in both the movies KSY and MUK.
For every guy and gal, especially in love, they’ll relate very easily to the onscreen characters of Arun and Parvathy. The other characters do favor a lot for the film’s happy-brimmed-frames.
Couple of songs is done with perfect style and Thamman goes for a tremendous job in background score. Nirav Shah’s cinematography adds more intensity to the visual aspects.
On the whole, Kadhalil Sodhapuvadhu Yeppadi is a feel-good light-hearted romantic comedy that entertains the contemporary audiences.
